Have you stopped bringing God the impossible?
I’ve been quiet this summer.
Summer has a way of making me grow roots. Slow down. Dig deep. Let the Lord work on things in me before I try to say anything out loud. But I’m coming up for air a little.
And I have a few things I’d love to say. Some of them may be hard to hear, I know because they were hard for me to hear first.
So can I say something hard?
Some of you have stopped praying bold prayers. Not necessarily because you stopped believing in God. But maybe because disappointment has taught you to stop hoping for too much.
So let me ask you something. If God chose to do a miracle in your life right now, what would you ask Him for?
What is the thing that feels impossible?
The burden that keeps you up at night?
The prayer you barely let yourself pray anymore?
Maybe the truth we need to hear is that God has not stopped moving. And just maybe He’s inviting you to bring Him the impossible again. Nothing is too broken.
Too far gone. Too messy. Too late.
So… what would your miracle be? And would you dared to ask Him for it?
Matthew 19:26: “Jesus looked at them and said, ‘With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.’”
